About the Organization

Established in 2007, the National Health Systems Resource Centre, a premier Think Tank for MoHFW, is mandated to assist in policy and strategy development in the provision and mobilization of technical assistance to the states and in capacity building for the Ministry of Health.

Job Responsibilities

• Work closely with the NP-NCD programme team to conduct a situation analysis including mapping of key stakeholders and understand the programme needs.
• In coordination with the Consultant for monitoring and evaluation, review implementation of the programme with reference to services, human resource management, infrastructure, equipment, drugs and capacity building.
• Organize and monitor timely collection, compilation and analysis of data from allotted States and take appropriate action and give feedback to concerned States/UTs.
• Regular visits for monitoring of the implementation of NP-NCD.
• Supervise, monitor and train State/ District Programme Officers
• Coordinate regular meetings of key strategic stakeholders & collaborations and assist in inter-sectoral coordination for effective implementation of the NP-NCD
• Additional technical roles (publications, studies etc) within assigned areas.
• Undertake any other assignments, which may be assigned from time to time.

Education Qualification/Required Skills & Experience

• MBBS with PG degree / Diploma in Community Medicine/ Community Health Administration/ Public Health/ Epidemiology/ Health Management or equivalent with at least 3 years of experience after obtaining post graduate degree/ diploma.

                                       OR

• MBBS/ BDS with 5 years of experience in Public Health at National / State level.

                                      OR

• Masters in Public Health / Community Medicine/ Community Health Administration with 5 years of experience at National / State level.

Desirable qualification & experience:

• Preference will be given to MBBS/ BDS and at least 1 years of experience in managing NCD programme at national or state level

Salary

Rs. 90,000 - Rs. 1,50,000/- per month
